Resignation Interview
Company ABC has recently undergone major changes. After a review of our current operations, the teams were restructured, introducing new job roles and responsibilities. As part of this process, I was re-assigned a role that no longer aligns with my personal, professional and career interests.
Therefore, after careful consideration, I understand that my departure from the company is inevitable. This decision to resign is difficult for me, as I have been a dedicated and loyal employee of ABC for the past five years. I have enjoyed working here and appreciate the opportunities that have been provided to me for personal and professional growth.
As I leave, I would like to voice my appreciation and gratitude for the organisation. I have had the privilege of working and collaborating with the most talented and hardworking colleagues. I feel privileged to have been part of an ever growing and innovative organization and I am positive that it will continue to achieve success in the years to come.
I would like to thank the entire team for their support and guidance throughout my tenure at Company ABC and am extremely grateful for the opportunities I have had to excel and grow professionally within this organisation.
I strongly believe that my decision to resign will not affect the functioning and smooth operations of the company. I have taken the responsibility in hand and made sure that all the necessary training and knowledge transfer has been done. I have entrusted the ongoing operations to my colleagues and given instruction where necessary.
I wish to thank you for your consideration and am confident that my decision to resign has been understood by all.
I look forward to the new opportunities this transition will bring me, however, I will always cherish my association with Company ABC and the immense learning I have undertaken during my tenure here.
Thank you once again for your time.
